Since 2006 Semilla has joned organizations such as Brooklyn Arts Council, Americas Society, Mano a Mano/Mexican Culture without Borders, City Lore and the New York Folklore Society in promoting son jarocho on their programs on Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America.
